A new book is on its way from Fangoria writer Ken W. Hanley entitled The I in Evil, and it takes a pretty hilarious look at the “real life” trials and tribulations of some of the most beloved creatures out there.

It’s also home to some truly bitchin’ artwork, and we have a preview of it right here for you!

The hardcover edition of The I in Evil will hit shelves on October 6, 2015, from Skyhorse Publishing and will feature illustrations from artist Adam Wallenta, who has worked for Marvel Comics, DC Comics, and American Mule.

Previously to the writing of this book, monsters had no way of helping themselves,” says Hanley. “Because they’re big, dumb, and terrifying, monsters usually would kill anyone who tried to help them. However, with THE I IN EVIL, monsters can finally get the help they deserve in the form of my simple, life-changing approach. And I guarantee, after reading THE I IN EVIL, monsters finally won’t have to kill anyone to feel better about themselves, probably.

In this biting self-help satire, The I in Evil provides the necessary methods to help Frankenstein’s Monster get over his daddy issues, Vampires to be more conscientious to their neighbors, Gill-men make better first impressions, and much, much more.

Synopsis:
FANGORIA Magazine’s Ken Hanley has devoted his life of uplifting the spirits and changing the lives of monsters across this great nation of ours. Vampires, Mummies, Wolfmen, Gill-men, and Monsters (Frankenstein’s or otherwise) will finally be able to step out of the shadows after reading THE I IN EVIL and be social, conscientious citizens without the psychological and sociological issues that plague mankind every day.

THE I IN EVIL is not meant for humans. This book contains dark, terrifying truths, and the author relinquishes any and all responsibility for any actions taken against monsters or themselves as a result of this book.
