James Wan Begins Pre-Production on The Conjuring 2: The Enfield Poltergeist
We’re just over a year away from the release of The Conjuring 2: The Enfield Poltergeist, wherein Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga will reprise their roles from the first film and investigate a brand new case with real-life inspiration. But first, the movie needs to actually be made.
Over on Twitter last night, returning director James Wan revealed that pre-production has officially begun on the hotly anticipated sequel, which is set to film in both Los Angeles, California, and England later this year. It will haunt theaters on June 10, 2016.
“Here we GO. First day of official pre-production on #Conjuring2,” wrote Wan. “After a much needed break, it’s good to be back at work.”
