James Wan-Produced Demonic Scares Up UK Release Date
Before he returns to the director’s chair for The Conjuring 2: The Enfield Poltergeist, currently in pre-production, James Wan presents Demonic (review). Directed by Will Canon and produced by Wan, the film has just scared up a release date over in the UK.
Fresh off its August premiere at Film4 FrightFest, Demonic will land on UK DVD September 7, 2015. While we wait for a Stateside release date, check out some new stills below along with the UK DVD art.
Golden Globe-nominated Maria Bello (A History of Violence) stars with Frank Grillo (The Purge: Anarchy). The screenplay was written by Canon with Doug Simon and Max La Bella based on a story by La Bella. Wan and Clay’s co-producers include F. Javier Gutiérrez and Aimee Lagos.
Synopsis:
When five college students who were investigating ghosts are brutally murdered inside an abandoned home that’s believed to be haunted, police detective Mark Lewis (Grillo) and a psychologist, Dr. Elizabeth Klein (Bello), are called on to investigate their deaths.
