Screenwriter Max Borenstein Offers Update on Godzilla 2

Godzilla 2 will be bigger and better than its predecessor, according to screenwriter Max Borenstein. Speaking to Collider at the Television Critics Association about the upcoming “Minority Report” TV series, he was quoted as saying about the new Godzilla film:

“No, I’m doing it. I’m writing it now, and it’s really going to be great. I don’t want to go off book and tell you anything that I’m not allowed to tell you. The response to the first film was really exciting, but now that that world is established, we can do bigger and even better things. We’re really stoked…”

Bigger and better, eh? Well, most sequels take that route anyway, but hopefully Godzilla 2 will put a new spin on it to make it unique. Legendary’s Godzilla sequel will open on June 8, 2018, and the Japanese reboot will also go into production soon.
