One of our favorite indie movies of the year, Old 37 (review), is gearing up for another screening and a DVD release! Read on for the skinny!

From the Press Release:
Fresh off a double win at Montreal Comiccon’s HorrorFest for Best Film and Best Kill, OLD 37 announces its first theatrical premiere! On September 23rd, OLD 37 hits Randolph, MA, for a one-night event. Massachusetts is where writer/producer Paul Travers grew up, and he will be doing a Q&A after the screening. Advance tickets can be purchased here.

OLD 37 is gearing up for its official DVD release on October 6, 2015 (Epic Pictures + Anchor Bay Canada). You can pre-order now via Walmart, Amazon (below), or Best Buy.

Fast-paced and blood-soaked, OLD 37 taps into the most basic human fear: vulnerability. The words “Don’t worry; I’m a paramedic” will make you think twice before dialing 9-1-1.

The film stars Kane Hodder (Friday the 13th, Hatchet) and Bill Moseley (The Devil’s Rejects, House of 1000 Corpses) as twisted brothers working together to exact revenge on some careless teen drivers. The cast also includes Brandi Cyrus, Caitlin Harris, Olivia Alexander, Maxwell Zagorski, Maggie Keane Williams, Ben Schneider, Mindy White, Sascha Knopf, Ken Simmons, and more.

OLD 37 features a performance from certified platinum Australian rock band Sheppard. The band not only performs live in a party scene in the film, but additionally has four songs featured on the soundtrack, all of which are off their debut full-length album, Bombs Away, which is certified gold.

OLD 37 was written and produced by Paul Travers along with producing partners Carrie Alton, Evan Greenhill, and Dayna Ghiraldi. With music composed by Darius Holbert (Hobo With A Shotgun, World’s Greatest Dad, Cedar Rapids) and blood, guts, and scares provided by Brian Spears and Pete Gerner (We Are What We Are, Late Phases, VHS), this team is ready to bring the sirens.
