Meet the Characters Who Fear the Walking Dead
Earlier today we had Robert Kirkman giving us a preview of the upcoming “Fear the Walking Dead,” and now it’s time to hear from executive producer Gale Anne Hurd, star Kim Dickens, and some of the show’s other cast and crew members, who introduce us to the characters of the new series.
“Fear the Walking Dead” premieres Sunday, August 23th, with a 90-minute episode. The first season will consist of 6 installments with the already confirmed 15-episode Season 2 airing in 2016.
The cast includes Cliff Curtis, Colman Domingo, Ruben Blades, Kim Dickens, Alycia Debnam Carey, Mercedes Mason, Shawn Hatosy, Frank Dillane, Elizabeth Rodriguez, and Lorenzo James Henrie. The series is set in Los Angeles and focuses on new characters and storylines.

Robert Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd, Greg Nicotero, and David Alpert from “The Walking Dead” are executive producers of the new series, which, like the original, is being produced by AMC Studios. Dave Erickson (“Marco Polo,” “Sons of Anarchy”), who co-created and co-wrote the pilot with Kirkman, is an executive producer and showrunner.

Synopsis:
