DVD and Blu-ray Releases: August 25, 2015
We have quite a few releases to announce this week, faithful readers. Just in time for this week’s premiere of “Fear The Walking Dead” comes “The Walking Dead” Season 5 on Blu-ray and DVD. Now we can all relive Noah’s gruesome departure from the cast as well as Rick and Morgan’s untimely reunion.
In terms of older movies, we’ve got a handful for you this week. Fans of animated horror will rejoice in knowing that the 1985 classic Vampire Hunter D will be dropping on both DVD and Blu-ray. Student Bodies will also be available in both formats along with 1982’s The Sender.
Probably my most looked-forward-to title would have to be the Blu-ray (with digital copy) release of Jacob’s Ladder. Now Tim Robbins cannot only confuse the hell out of me, but he can do it in HD and from the cloud.
That’s just 5 of this week’s 27 total releases, folks. We would have had an even longer list, but there have been a handful of delayed releases. Eaten Alive will be coming out on September 15th and A Plague So Pleasant, Rebound, Blood Rage, and Pernicious will all be in stores on September 29th.
Pleasant viewing, fiends.
