Resident Evil Stuntwoman Injured on the Set During Motorcycle Crash
Olivia Jackson, a veteran stuntwoman who has appeared in such films as Mad Max: Fury Road, was injured on the set of the upcoming sequel Resident Evil: The Final Chapter. According to reports, Jackson was on a motorcycle when she crashed into a mechanical arm holding a camera. The folks over at The Sun explain that she suffered head injuries and a punctured lung.
Since the stunt reportedly wasn’t very dangerous, Jackson didn’t wear any protective gear. The Sun states that the mechanical arm holding the camera malfunctioned while shooting the scene, and the accident “was totally out of her control.” The Daily Caller reports she’s currently in a coma.
