Trailer for Horror Anime Series Kowabon
Kowabon is an original horror anime series which examines the possibility of there being a darker side to the digital age. What if someone, or something, was observing us through all our cameras and other digital devices for its own sinister purpose? Are there sinister supernatural elements at play in this age where people can’t go one minute without looking at their phone?
It uses a technique called rotoscoping, where live-action footage is traced into animation. Have a look at the trailer below and see if you think that this technique makes Kowabon look visually unique.
The first season will contain 13 five-minute episodes and will be broadcast in Japan on October 3.
