Don’t Forget! Jessica Cameron’s Mania to Premiere at the Arizona Underground Film Festival
Director Jessica Cameron and writer/executive producer Jonathan Scott Higgins’ Mania is generating a substantial amount of buzz online ahead of its release. Fortunately for those folks who plan to attend this year’s Arizona Underground Film Festival, you can catch the controversial horror flick when it premieres on September 18. That’s this Friday, in case you’re wondering, so you may need to make some last-minute arrangements if you want to check it out.
Both Cameron and Higgins will be in attendance, and they’ll stick around to take part in a Q&A session after the movie screens. Be warned: We’re told the flick contains a fair amount of nudity and realistic depictions of lesbian sex. In other words, if you’re easily offended, then it’s probably in everyone’s best interest if you sit this one out. Which, of course, brings us to the plot.
“Mania is about two lesbian lovers who are forced to flee their hometown after a brutal murder changes their lives,” the official plot synopsis boldly declares.
