Crazy Trailer for Lychee Light Club
The Japanese film Lychee Light Club, based on the manga by Usamaru Furuya, has released a trailer which doesn’t really offer many plot details, other than that it will be very, very weird.
The one-shot manga is based on a stage play and revolves around a group of teenage boys who try to create an omniscient machine so that they can change the world before its self-awareness starts to have disastrous consequences.
Directed by Eisuke Naitō, the cast includes Shūhei Nomura, Shōtarō Mamiya, and Yuki Furukawa, star of the Japanese series Mischievous Kiss, which has developed something of a cult following in the West.
Lychee Light Club will be released in Japan in January.
