William Friedkin Believes The Exorcist Is Remake Safe
In the wake of rumors that a remake of The Exorcist is a possibility, the director of the classic film, William Friedkin, has decided to take to Twitter to address the subject and hopefully let us all breathe a bit easier.
I mention it only in passing, but I don’t believe Morgan Creek has rights to THE ORIGINAL, only the so-called sequels.

So if that’s the case, maybe we’re just looking at more sequels. With the exception of Exorcist III they all sadly sucked. Hint for studios: The only good films in the franchise have NOT TAKEN PLACE IN AFRICA. Please drop that whole thing, will ya? I mean, enough already!
