Okay, okay — that headline is a little misleading. It may have sounded like I was about to ramble on about another Halloween attraction opening for business somewhere in the United States, but that’s not the case. However, filmmaker Erik Bloomquist no doubt hopes that you will check out his short film Ghost Tour when it arrives online this October. Just in time for Halloween!

Filmed at the Mark Twain House and Museum in Hartford, Connecticut, Bloomquist’s creepy tale chronicles a tour guide’s ghostly experiences with the supernatural.

The official synopsis explores the plot in a bit more detail:

November 30, 1973. After the final ghost tour at a museum with a legendary dark past, veteran docent Richard Sawyer experiences his first real encounter with the paranormal.

Although it’s unclear when Ghost Tour will arrive online, the press release claims it will appear during the peak of the Halloween season. Check out the short film’s official Facebook page to stay up-to-date on when that might happen. Meanwhile, the trailer is ready for your undivided attention.
