Adam Green’s Annual Halloween Short Exposes Monster Problems
For the past 17 years, Adam Green (Hatchet, Frozen) and his team over at ArieScope Pictures have celebrated the Halloween season with a festive short horror film, and despite the fact that they’re busier than ever right now, juggling various projects, they’ve made it a top priority to keep the tradition alive.
Premiering on the ArieScope website today, the 17th annual Halloween short is titled Monster Problems, and in it Derek Mears (Friday the 13th 2009), Colton Dunn (Hatchet 2), and Kelly Vrooman (“The Chica Show”) star as the titular monsters, who indeed have a very big problem.
Written and directed by Adam Green, Halloween Problems sees the monsters meeting their match in the form of a young boy who refuses to be eaten, and you can check out the hilarious horror-comedy below. Also be sure to head over to Green’s blog, where you can learn more about it!
“12 people, 1 dog, a lot of hard work, a ton of hours, and A LOT of late nights later… the 17th annual Halloween short film has crossed the finish line and MONSTER PROBLEMS has taken its place in the long legacy of ArieScope’s fun yearly tradition,” writes Green. “Hopefully our efforts made you smile and added some joy to your Halloween. After all, that’s the entire point.”
