Total War: Warhammer Gets a New Trailer and Release Date
Seriously, whoever decided to combine Total War and Warhammer deserves a medal of some kind. A stroke of genius if ever there was one. Such a genius idea, in fact, that they decided to make it a trilogy. You can practically hear the cha-ching sound.
After being announced earlier this year, Total War: Warhammer will launch for PC on April 28, 2016. Upon release, there will be four playable factions (Orks, Dwarfs, the Empire, and the Undead), and if you pre-order, you will have exclusive access to the Chaos Warriors and the grotesque monsters that they bring into battle. No word yet on whether other races, like the Lizardmen, High Elves, or the Samurai of Nippon, will appear via DLC or if we’ll need to wait until the next two games, if at all, for them. But whatever, we still get some awesome armies to have beat the shit out of each other.
There’s also a very limited High King Edition featuring a bunch of awesome collectibles, including a ring, pendant, and (get this) a dwarven drinking horn. Now there’s something you don’t see every day. I mean, if you’re gonna slaughter Orks, you may as well do it in style, right?
