Chris von Hoffmann’s Drifter Mixes Mad Max with Bloodthirsty Cannibals

Chris von Hoffmann’s upcoming blood-soaked crime thriller Drifter mixes elements that always seem to work well together: desolate wastelands, Mad Max-esque aesthetics, and bloodthirty cannibals. And while you might say you’ve seen this cinematic equation many times before, it’s one that never really gets old. Seriously — post-apocalyptic cannibals always get a greenlight from me.

To help spread the word about Hoffman’s upcoming flick, the fine folks at Lotus Entertainment have put together a handful of nifty promotional items. This includes a badass trailer, some behind-the-scenes clips, and some impossibly cool artwork from JonathanBPerez.com

The logline tells you everything you could possibly need to know about the story: “A pair of outlaw brothers are held captive in a desolate town run by a small family of psychotic cannibals and their sadistic Mayor.”
