More news … and the first image … has trickled out about Zebediah de Soto’s 3D “American anime” Night of the Living Dead remake. Not only did we get confirmation that Joe Pilato will indeed be portraying Cooper, but we also learned the name of one of the actors being considered for Ben.
The Origins producers have sent the script to Mos Def, and he’s expressed interest. We should hear more on that front shortly.
Director de Soto, who also pulls co-writing duties on the project, describes NOTLD: Origins, which will be in 3D, as “a living painting” and promises “no one has ever seen anything like this on the big screen.” Dig on the early artwork he provided to us below (click to see it larger), and let us know what you think.
