Hotel Transylvania 3 Opens Its Doors on September 21, 2018
Hotel Transylvania 2 may still be playing in theatres, but with a current worldwide gross of $373 million, it comes as no surprise that Sony is already moving ahead with the sequel, which will be released on September 21, 2018. If that date sounds familiar, it’s because it’s the same date that the Scooby-Doo reboot opens, so expect it to be clash of the animated horror titans.
No cast members have yet been confirmed, though it’s a given that Sandler will return to voice Dracula. However, director Genndy Tartakovsky is unlikely to helm the third installment.
The Hotel Transylvania franchise is pretty much the only good thing that Sandler has going for himself career-wise at the moment; let’s just hope that he doesn’t eventually suck it dry like he does everything else with which he comes in contact.
