AFM: Brad Furman Sets Bret Easton Ellis’ Bait
More news coming out of AFM today, this time concerning the latest Bret Easton Ellis adaptation, Bait, for Myriad Pictures. We’ve even scored you some sales art too! We’re good like that!
Brad Furman will be taking on the directing duties for Myriad. Somehow I don’t think we’ll be seeing any gruesome yet inventive usages of habit-trails in this flick, but it should be a good time nonetheless. Check out the art and the synopsis below.
Synopsis
Cole is a quiet young man, unassuming, who works as waiter at a posh beach club. But underneath his polite demeanor is a suppressed rage at hte wealth and bounty that surrounds him and is out of his reach. The arrogance and dismissive nature of the rich fuels his anger at the unfairness of the world, and he is a ticking time bomb just waiting to explode.
