New Splice Stills Show Off More Monster
More stills for Vincenzo Natali’s monster opus Splice have surfaced today in celebration of the film’s upcoming Sundance run, and we have them for you all stuffed into a tight set of genes.
The flick, starring Adrien Brody, Sarah Polley, Delphine Chaneac, David Hewlett, and Brandon McGibbon, tells the tale of Elsa and Clive, two young rebellious scientists who defy legal and ethical boundaries and forge ahead with a dangerous experiment: splicing together human and animal DNA to create a new organism. Named Dren, the creature rapidly develops from a deformed female infant into a beautiful but dangerous winged human-chimera, who forges a bond with both of her creators – only to have that bond turn deadly.
