The Hours Till Daylight is yet another supernatural-based film that claims to be based on true events. Well, whatever… the trailer looks pretty cool, so we’ll let its questionable true story status pass. Anyway, it follows a family who are haunted by an unrelenting, evil entity until they finally decide to take matters into their own hands and perform an exorcism.

It’s the fourth film from director Jon Garcia and his first foray into horror.  The Hours Till Daylight stars Vannessa Vasquez and Carlos Sepulveda. You can judge for yourself whether the events depicted in the film are genuine when it hits DVD on March 15th from Breaking Glass Pictures.

Synopsis:
Inspired by true events! The Vasquez family have been tormented by an evil entity for generations. Now that Marco Vasquez is about to start a family of his own, the paranormal activity has intensified. Marco seeks help from a man named Luis Ortiz–The Curandero–an indigenous shaman who serves the drug cartel. Ortiz gives Marco a scroll with instructions for a dangerous self-exorcism, and he will have only until daylight to defeat the malevolent spirit.
