Jason Trost’s All Superheroes Must Die (review) was a pretty solid effort overall; and if you’re a fan of the film who’s been hoping for a sequel, this one’s for you!

Parade Deck Films will release All Superheroes Must Die 2: The Last Superhero in limited theaters and via date & date VOD during summer, 2016.

From the Press Release:
For his fifth and most daring film as director, Jason Trost (The FP, All Superheroes Must Die, How to Save Us) brings us All Superheroes Must Die 2: The Last Superhero.

Brought to life with a bone-chilling and brilliant score from acclaimed composer Tori Letzler (“American Horror Story,” Thor: Dark World), Phil Miller’s (How To Save Us) astonishing cinematography, and Trost’s strong directorial instincts, All Superheroes Must Die 2 is poised to be a summer 2016 sleeper hit. The film will get a few festivals under its belt before it goes theatrical and day & date.

“Jason is a visionary filmmaker who has a rabid and passionate fan base, and he is a hell of a guy,” said Parade Deck Films President Michael Ingram, who was impressed with Trost’s last film, How To Save Us, a Parade Deck Films release, and jumped at the chance to work with him again.

Check out the film’s synopsis, teaser trailer, and more below.

Synopsis:
Acclaimed journalist Vicky O’Neil (Tallay Wickham) sets out on a quest to uncover the truth behind the murder of small town sweetheart Ally Andrews in a no holds barred documentary. What she uncovers leads her down a dark and twisted rabbit hole into the world of superheroes, where she gets the chance of a lifetime: an exclusive interview with Charge (Trost), the world’s last superhero. As he chronicles his mysterious origins and bloody career, Vicky begins to wonder: Is he still the hero the world remembers, or has he become the villain we all should fear?
