Anchor Bay Sails into the After.Life
Remember that scene in The Serpent and the Rainbow when the main character was poisoned and appeared medically dead? That’s a pretty horrifying notion. Imagine that being the whole film, and there you have Agnieszka Wojtowicz-Vosloo’s After.Life.
Word just broke that Anchor Bay Films has acquired this ultra-unnerving tale starring Christina Ricci, Liam Neeson, Alfred Molina, Justin Long, Josh Charles, and Chandler Canterbury.
The film, which has garnered itself an “R” rating for “nudity, disturbing images, language and brief sexuality“, tells the tale of a young woman in a transitional state between life and death who fights to avoid being buried alive and the funeral director who holds her fate in his hands.
Look for more on this one soon. In the interim check out the one-sheet below that originally debuted at this year’s AFM.
