Exclusive: You Are Not Alone Actress Krista Dzialoszynski and Producer Jonald Reyes Discuss POV Horror Flick

Writer/director Derek Mungor and co-writer Chris O’Brien’s acclaimed endeavor You Are Not Alone recently made its way onto DVD. To spread the good word about their unique POV horror flick, the folks at Sharp Teeth Films sent over an exclusive 90-second interview with lead actress Krista Dzialoszynski and producer Jonald Reyes.

According to the press release, Krista Dzialoszynski doesn’t actually appear in You Are Not Alone — the story unfolds through her eyes. So if you’re not too keen on watching a sociopathic killer stalk his prey through the eyes of his victim, this probably isn’t the movie for you, especially if you watch it through a VR headset. Yikes.

Synopsis:
With school finally over, college graduate Natalie Wilner returns to her hometown to celebrate the Fourth of July weekend. But beneath the flags and fireworks lurks a dark, malevolent figure. After a night of drunken parties, she stumbles home and drifts off to sleep, only to be woken moments later by a loud knock on the door…

Experience one night of terror, through Natalie’s eyes as she fights to escape a relentless, knife-wielding maniac. YOU ARE NOT ALONE echoes the classic slasher movies of the 1970s and ‘80s, but adds an immersive, modern twist.
