See a Sneak Peek of The Walking Dead Episode 6.13 – The Same Boat
Last night’s episode of “The Walking Dead” was a tense one for sure, and things are bound to get much worse for our survivors before they get better. Up now we have a look at next week’s Episode 6.13, “The Same Boat,” but first we thought we’d share a pretty cool tidbit about those “heads” we saw in Episode 6.12 – did any of them look familiar?
In a chat with EW, exec producer/director Greg Nicotero shed a little light on whose heads they actually were… “The Gregory head is actually a cast of my head,” said Nicotero. “When Xander Berkeley was cast as Gregory, we didn’t have enough time to get him to Los Angeles to do a head cast and make a dummy head of him so I sent photos of him, and I said, ‘Here’s a picture of the actor. Let’s see what we have in stock that looks as close to Xander as it can be.’ It ended up being a mold of my head. So that head that he picks up is actually a fake head of me!”
He continued, “One of the other heads – I don’t know if I’m going to get in trouble if I say this – was Johnny Depp. I think we had sculpted an emaciated version of a dummy head for something, and we used Johnny Depp’s head as a basis just for a clay sculpt. I can’t remember who the third one is, but I’m in good company.”
Cool, right? In any event, here’s what’s coming up; for some reason AMC didn’t release any photos of the ep so you’ll have to be content with the synopsis, preview, and a clip.
