Cobragator Terrorizes the Landscape in New Images
Sooner or later, the creature feature hybrid well will run dry, and we’ll have to invent an entirely new (and possibly improved) subgenre of monster movies. Until that happens, we have Jim Wynorski’s Cobragator. As you may have guessed from the title, the upcoming B-movie explores what happens when a cobra and an alligator become a single, enormous entity hell-bent on worldwide destruction. As you can tell from the latest batch of images, it doesn’t look good for humanity.
Wynorski, perhaps best known among hardcore horror fiends as the guy responsible for Chopping Mall and 976-Evil 2 (among many, many, many others), recently gave us Sharkansas Women’s Prison Massacre, a film that blends two of my favorite things: sharks and women in prison movies. Wynorski, my life wouldn’t be the same without you.
Cobragator will no doubt debut at some point on SyFy. We’ll let you know when that happens.
