Juror 13 Manga Getting An American Film Adaption
Death Note isn’t the only manga getting a live-action American film adaptation. The Hollywood Reporter tells us that Juror 13, a one-shot American manga-style graphic novel written by D. J. Milky, illustrated by Makoto Nakatsuka, and published by Tokyopop, will get the big-screen treatment, with filming beginning next year.
The book centred around an insurance claims salesman who is unwillingly drafted into jury duty, only for him to be hypnotised into becoming an insane killer. Hell, being forced to do jury duty will probably drive us all completely insane at one point.
Tokyopop CEO Stu Levy will produce, and Terminator 3 and 4 writer Mike Ferris will handle the screenplay.
