No Stay Puft Marshmallow Man for New Ghostbusters
Let me be clear… yeah, I could have posted this latest tidbit of Ghostbusters news in the last story about the trailer, BUT, then we wouldn’t have had the trifecta of thumbnail Ghostbusters images on the main page. It just makes me snicker.
In any event, Bloody Disgusting is reporting that the original film’s main menace will NOT be making an appearance in the Paul Feig reboot. Internet fan meltdown in 5… 4… 3…

Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon, and Leslie Jones are our new paranormal investigators along with their loyal secretary Chris Hemsworth. Neil Casey, Andy Garcia, Michael K. Williams, Matt Walsh, Pat Kiernan, Cecily Strong, and Charles Dance also star. Cameos will include the original film’s stars Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Sigourney Weaver, and Annie Potts. Plus Ozzy Osbourne.
The Ghostbusters reboot will haunt the big screen on July 15, 2016.
Synopsis:
