If you ever wondered what happens “When Paranormal Activity Takes Over Your Mind, Body and Soul”, then the upcoming film Ghost Box should have all the answers. At least, that’s how the trailer below describes the film in which a struggling writer gets more than he bargained for when he desperately tries to get his big break by investigating alleged sightings of the ghost of a deceased old woman.

The indie flick comes from established horror director Mike O’Mahony, who you may remember for films such as Sloppy the Psychotic, Deadly Detour, I.B.S., and A Dark Place Inside. If you were a fan of those films, and you feel that the Ghost Box absolutely must be opened, click below to pre-order it on DVD ahead of its April 12 release date.

Synopsis:
Mark Hannum is an aspiring author tired of the routine and monotony of his life. When he decides to finally write his opus on the Paranormal, he gives up his day job to pursue his dream but his life begins a downward spiral. He becomes possessed with the supernatural and is constantly immersed in his research, alienating his girlfriend who then leaves him. Soon all he has left is the case of Mrs. Ester’s ghost. The old lady’s house is a strange paranormal trap that eventually consumes him day and night. He travels to the darkest places imaginable and realizes too late that he’s in over his head. This is one ghost that doesn’t want to be disturbed. Starring Christopher Darby (A Dark Place Inside) and Carol Florence (12 Monkeys, Ocean’s 11).
