Over the years most vampire movies have featured tame brooding creatures who just want to glitter in the sun and nab the living girl. Hopefully the upcoming flick Corbin Nash will get things right! One thing’s certain: Their cast is a HOME RUN!

According to Deadline, as StarTree Productions’ upcoming vampire thriller Corbin Nash prepares to begin shooting, the cast has been filled out by genre film royalty, with Malcolm McDowell, Rutger Hauer, Bruce Davison, and Corey Feldman signing on.

The film sees Dean Jagger (“Game of Thrones”) as the title character, a New York City cop who transfers to Los Angeles to hunt for his parents’ killer. Once there, he’s brutally murdered and returns to life as the ultimate killer. Bloodshed ensues.

While most plot details remain under wraps, McDowell has signed on to play a character known as the Blind Prophet, who exists around the margins of the film’s world. Hauer, meanwhile, will play a character described as a mysterious stranger, while Davison plays Jack, the title character’s conflicted stepfather who hides a dangerous secret. And Feldman will play a vicious, cross-dressing vampire in a role that could serve as a comeback for the Lost Boys and Stand By Me star.
