Gears of War 4 Deploying for Duty on October 11; Box Art Unveiled
After being announced over a year ago, we’ve finally got a release date for one of the most anticipated games of 2016. Microsoft confirmed that Gears of War 4 will be released on October 11, so expect to be seeing a hell of a lot more marketing for the game between now and then.
Thanks to Entertainment Weekly, we’ve also got a look at the pretty sweet box art, which was included in an interview that they did with Rod Fergusson, studio head of developer The Coalition (which took over the franchise when Microsoft acquired it from Epic Games), in which they talk about how the game will also focus on horror over action.
The beta for Gears of War 4 will be launching on the 18th of this month, so be sure to head over to the official website for more info and updates.

Beginning on April 18, 2016, fans who’ve played Gears of War: Ultimate Edition on Xbox One or Windows 10 will be able to join the beta on Xbox One, which will expand to all Xbox Live Gold members on April 25th.
