Texas Frightmare Weekend 2016 Final Guest List Revealed
After a lengthy sabbatical, I’m BACK with a reminder you should care just an awful lot about: Texas Frightmare Weekend 2016 is LESS THAN A MONTH away!
It’s crazy close. The guest list is complete, a bunch of screenings have been announced, and tons of special events have been set up surrounding the show this year. For starters, let’s look at that guest list.
If you’ve every been in a Nightmare on Elm Street film, I think you’ll be at this show. It’s a massive reunion across the entire original series, focusing of course on the master of mayhem himself, Robert Englund. Final girls and victims alike are also appearing, with Heather “Nancy” Langenkamp heading up the roster.
On top of that, it’s legends galore: George Romero, Tony Todd, Kane Hodder, Lance Henriksen, James Remar, Michael Beck. A massive Halloween II reunion. A Scream reunion featuring Rose McGowan, Matthew Lillard, David Arquette, and Skeet Ulrich. Original KISS drummer Peter Criss. A Return of the Living Dead reunion, and many others.
On top of a ton of new horror films, a great set of Frightmaker 101 seminars, and a dark art show, guests can look forward to the Friday night “Party at Frightmare General Hospital” with a live DJ, Scaryoke, and a trivia contest!
Of course, as usual, you’ll have two massive vendor rooms full of guests and goodies for your autograph and shopping needs. The Hyatt always does things up right as well with liquor and food specials throughout the hotel and themed outfits for employees.
This is THE convention to be at. You can expect to find yours truly haunting the halls and providing a live tweeted play by play of the weekend’s events.
Get yourself to Texas on April 29th and 30th and May 1st for the 2016 Texas Frightmare Weekend, or you will definitely regret it.
