Like Dimension’s Hellraiser: Judgment, upcoming franchise sequel Children of the Corn: Runaway was recently shot in Oklahoma City, and it’s interesting to note that both filmed scenes in the very same building. On tap today is our first look at the latter sequel, thanks to a series of behind-the-scenes photos.

The photos come our way via NewsOK, and you can head over there to see more.

We’ve had a lot of fun,” producer Mike Leahy told the site. “Blood has been flowing here in Oklahoma City. Everyone has been very open, too. The crew has been really jazzed to do something outside of an indie drama. These are two horror films that are going to be seen by a core audience.”

John Gulager (Feast) directed a script penned by Joel Soisson (Children of the Corn: Genesis).

The franchise’s tenth installment follows a young pregnant woman who escapes a murderous child cult in a small Midwestern town. She then spends the next decade living anonymously in an attempt to spare her son the horrors that she experienced as a child. She lands in the small Oklahoma town…but something is following her. Now, she must confront this evil or lose her child.

Tying the new film into the 2009 Children of the Corn remake, the main character is Malachai’s girlfriend, Ruth.
