Demonic Flick The Possessed Casts Out a Trailer

With possession films being as high as they are right now thanks to The Conjuring, a trailer has just been released for a brand new flick, aptly titled The Possessed. They’ve also put out a creepy as hell official website.

From the Press Release:
Harvest Moon Motion Picture & Television Studio announces the start of filming on their upcoming feature film The Possessed, written and directed by Shawn Anthony and starring Jessica Felice, John Wells, Amanda Marie, Billy Blair, Tyler Lueck, and Alex Ruiz.

Writer/director Shawn Anthony’s fourth feature film, The Possessed pays homage to the classic styles of movies such as The Exorcist and Possession, melding historical facts with supernatural elements that bring sophistication and elegance to the screen. The Possessed is a chilling and groundbreaking new take on the genre.

Filming will begin mid-May in Texas. The film’s terrifying score will be composed by Frederic Mauerhofer.

Synopsis:
Ever since she suffered from a failed exorcism, Karen Avalon has been rebuilding her life far away from the church’s reach. Taking on cases that no one else is willing to tackle, this sardonic private detective faces her greatest challenge: to find the Devil’s Bible before he claims it and brings on Armageddon.

The closer she gets to uncovering the book’s mysteries, the more her dark side fights to get out. Karen battles demons from within and without, as agents from the church find her to finish what they started. Hell will be raised in this epic battle between good and evil.
