A franchise hasn’t truly been milked for all it’s worth until it’s been remade, turned into a television series, and given a prequel; and The Omen is next up on that particular chopping block. While the currently airing A&E series “Damien” tells a story years after the events of the original film, The First Omen will be set years before.

Per THR, Antonio Campos, the indie filmmaker who most recently directed the Sundance movie Christine, is in negotiations to helm the supernatural horror thriller. The prequel is currently being developed by 20th Century Fox, and Ben Jacoby penned the script. David Goyer and Kevin Turen will produce under the Phantom Four banner.

The original starred Gregory Peck as an ambassador who comes to believe that his 5-year-old son, Damien, may be the living embodiment of the Antichrist.

Plot details remain entirely unknown, so for now that’s all we’ve got for ya.

It’s all for you, Damien. It’s all for you.
