Chloe Moretz Heading Out Into The Fields?
Though she may be on the youngish side of the fence, actress Chloe Moretz is digging her feels deeply into genre films; and given her talent, we couldn’t be happier.
According to Production Weekly the star of the upcoming Let the Right One In remake, Let Me In, as well as Kick-Ass, is also in talks to be seen in the thriller entitled The Fields alongside the previously announced Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Sam Worthington, and Jessica Chastain.
Moretz is up for the role of little Ann in the film, which focuses on a series of real unsolved murders in the industrial wastelands surrounding Gulf Coast refineries, where as many as 70 bodies have turned up over the past two decades.
The Fields — which was originally called Texas Killing Fields — will be directed by Ami Canaan Mann, daughter of Michael Mann, in a co-production between Bill Block’s QED Intl. and Mann’s Forward Pass shingle. The script was penned by former DEA agent Donald F. Ferrarone, and production is scheduled to begin April 5th in Louisiana.
