Prometheus: Life and Death Comic Series Debuting Next Month

As part of Dark Horse’s plan to hugely expand the AvP universe, there’s gonna be a ton of new Alien and Predator comics coming in the near future. This includes Prometheus: Life and Death, which will be hitting stores next month in addition to being available digitally. It serves as the second chapter in the Life and Death story cycle, which writer Dan Abnett began with Predator: Life and Death earlier this year.

The new series will explore the cosmic powers-that-be of the universe that we’ve come to know and love, with the Colonial Marines finding themselves having to contend with something even worse than both the Xenomorphs and the Yautja when they commandeer a mysterious ancient spacecraft: the angry space god to whom it belongs. So yeah, I guess the lesson is don’t piss off a space god.

Prometheus: Life and Death Issue #1 goes on sale on 8 June. Curious to learn more? Comic Book Resources has an exclusive look at the first several pages.

Synopsis:
Colonial Marines have commandeered a mysterious alien ship—wresting it from the savage Predators who also wanted it. But now the owner of the vessel has awakened, and the Marines find themselves trapped in space with an angry god!
