Monster Hunter Generations Pays Tribute to the Ghosts ‘n Goblins Series
Ah, Ghosts ‘n Goblins. The classic series from back in the days when gaming was a hell of a lot more simple than it is today, where you played as the fearless knight known as Arthur as he embarks on a dangerous quest to rescue the beautiful Princess Guinevere from the evil demon Satan and his army of monstrous minions.
And while there haven’t been any games in the series since 2010, Arthur has gone on to be featured in a number of other Capcom properties, including the Marvel vs. Capcom games, Project X Zone, and now, Monster Hunter Generations.
That’s right… when the game hits stores on July 15, you’ll be able to dress up your Felyne companion in Arthur’s signature knight armor and lance; and hell, they’ve even thrown in his red beard for maximum effect. Those damn monsters will never know what hit them!
