15 Till Midnight Begins Principal Photography

Never mind 3:15; 15 Till Midnight is looking to be the new time for people to tune in for terror, and now that principal photography is under way, zero hour could arrive before you know it!

From the Press Release
Rotten Apple Productions, in conjunction with the newly formed Wolfpack Industries and in association with Zeroinside Films, has officially begun principal photography on the sci-fi/thriller 15 TILL MIDNIGHT. Filming is taking place primarily in the Brooklyn and Coney Island areas of New York City.

The film is written by and stars Brandon Slagle (Showtime Channel’s Kinky Killers, Methodic, and who recently signed on to play Chainsaw Sally’s nemesis, a serial killer named Angel Eyes in the upcoming second season of the Chainsaw Sally Show), NYC stage actress Andrea Chen (who recently appeared in Kid Cudi’s video for the single “Pursuit of Happiness”), Dee Martin (Notorious), and Devanny Pinn (Bad Girls Burn in Hell, Piranha 3-D, 12-24). The film also features Andrew Roth (Methodic, Crossed), Manoush (Barricade, La Petit Mort), and NYC stage actress Olivia Baseman.

The emotionally and visually intense film, much in the vein of works such as Dark City and Vanilla Sky, details the story of parallel worlds colliding as a secret society policing this phenomenon tracks a man whose wife has seemingly disappeared. A balance between worlds must be kept for each to co-exist, and when the balance is shaken, it disrupts the flow of life as we know it … with horrific consequences.

The film is being directed by Wolfgang Meyer (aka Dave Meyers – NOT the director of The Hitcher), who recently completed the film The Gate of Fallen Angels, an occult thriller also starring Brandon Slagle as well as Lorenzo Lamas’s daughter Paton Ashbrook and Vinny Guadagnino (MTV’s Jersey Shore).

Filming will wrap during the final days of April, and editing will continue throughout the summer for an anticipated November premiere in New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Dallas, Texas. A full teaser trailer will appear shortly after.

In a recent podcast interview, Meyer stated how he has “fallen in love” with the project during its pre-production, and Slagle expressed his gratitude at finally being able to bring to life a storyline that has been in his mind for nearly two decades.

Synopsis
Lukas Reyes seems to have finally found contentment. However, the morning after his two-year anniversary with the “perfect girl”, he awakes to find that she has completely vanished from his life. Soon it becomes apparent that there may be more to her disappearance than it seems as strange events begin surrounding him. Time seems to begin overlapping as he finds himself caught in an endless paradox that drives him to the brink of sanity as his world morphs from tranquilic to nihilistic.
