Experience the Agony of Hell on PS4 and Xbox One
The concepts of Heaven and Hell can sure make for some great works of fiction, in addition to being works of fiction in and of themselves. Aside from the religion fanatics, we all know that this life is all we get and that we need to make the most of it while it lasts, but that doesn’t mean we can’t appreciate the rich fantastical narratives that religious mythologies have to offer.
In the upcoming game Agony, from newly formed Polish developer Madmind Studio (some of their staff worked on The Witcher III), you play as a damned soul trapped in the bowels of Hell with no memories of your life on Earth.
The announcement trailer doesn’t show off any gameplay footage so we don’t yet know how it will look in action, but based on the images below, I don’t think Hell has ever looked so good.

Agony is a first-person survival horror game currently in development. Players will begin their journey as tormented soul within the depths of Hell without any memories about their past. The special ability to control people on their path, and even possess simple-minded demons, gives players the necessary measures to survive in the extreme conditions they are in.
By exploring hostile environment and interacting with the other weary souls of the hellscape, the hero will soon understand that there is only one way to escape from Hell, and it will require a meeting of the mystical Red Goddess.
