Brad Fuller Offers Updates on Ouija, Butcherhouse Chronicles, and The Birds
With the A Nightmare on Elm Street junket in full swing today (expect a full report soon), Platinum Dunes producer Brad Fuller offered some updates on several upcoming projects that we’ve been waiting to hear about.
During an interview with Bloody Disgusting Fuller revealed that they’re “still trying to figure out The Birds” and that even though they have a good script, “It doesn’t feel like there’s anything happening on [The Butcherhouse Chronicles] right now.”
The biggest update was offered on the supernatural thriller Ouija — “Ouija isn’t really a horror movie per se; it’s definitely more of a big action-adventure movie along the lines of … I gotta be careful what I compare it to,” said Fuller. “But you know, it’s like a big action-adventure movie. And that script … I’ve read a couple pages of it; it seems good. I think we’re getting the full script in the next month. And that’s a very exciting project for us cause it’s a much bigger movie, and it gives us an opportunity to try something we haven’t done before…There are definitely horror elements, because it’s about Ouija and what happens from a Ouija board, but it’s a much bigger film. I would call it an action-adventure with horror elements.”
