Today we bring you the first details on Watch Island, which is being produced by Bradley Hvolbeck, Jr., of Breaking Waves Entertainment and his partner Pietro D’Alessio of Alexius OmniMedia.
From the Press Release:
Gabrielle Stone (pictured), daughter of Dee Wallace and the late Christopher Stone, has inked a deal to star in the freshman outing of the “Watch Island” franchise. The script, helmed by director Matt Zettell and penned by Penobscot Films’ Brian Pickard, is currently prepping for a June start date in New England.
Zettell’s previous directing credits include “Resurrection County” and “The Cellar Door.” Edward T. Button will serve as cinematographer. Craig Lamar Traylor, from “Malcolm in the Middle,” also stars. Melinda Chilton, Leslie Taylor, and Marion Markham have snagged supporting roles.
The project, described as “Big Brother” meets “Friday the 13th”, is a 1980’s throwback with a ghost hunting twist. The franchise introduces a new iconic killer known as “The Cameraman.”
