Supernatural Action Film Spectral Pulled From Release
Legendary and Universal’s Spectral puts a supernatural spin on the war film, and in fact it’s been described as the horror genre’s answer to Black Hawk Down. The film, which was shot back in 2014, was originally scheduled to be released on August 12th of this year, though those plans have changed.
Per THR, Legendary and Universal have pulled Spectral completely off the release calendar, leaving the fate of the action-horror flick hanging in the balance. At the time of writing this story, a new date has not yet been announced, and the studios have not commented on why the film was pulled.
Directed by commercials helmer Nic Mathieu, Spectral stars James Badge Dale, Max Martini, Emily Mortimer, and Bruce Greenwood and revolves around a Special Ops team who battle supernatural entities taking over a European city.
