#SDCC16: 20th Century Fox TV Bringing The Exorcist, Salem, Scream Queens, and Rocky Horror to the Show!
The movie side of 20th Century Fox is sitting out this year’s San Diego Comic-Con due to concerns over piracy of any footage that might air during the event, but the TV side will be represented in full force. Along with new series “The Exorcist” and its reboot of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, the company is bringing a few other horror-related shows to the 2016 SDCC, including one of our favorites: “Salem.”
Read on for the details.
Per Deadline, 20th Century Fox TV is hosting a screening of Episode 1 of its psychological TV thriller “The Exorcist” with stars Alfonso Herrera, Ben Daniels, and Geena Davis and writer/producer Jeremy Slater in attendance. Inspired by the Warner Bros. feature, “The Exorcist” follows two very different priests tackling one family’s case of demonic possession.
There will also be a “first look” at the TV version of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, which premieres in October, with cast members Christina Milian, Victoria Justice, Ryan McCarten, Laverne Cox, Reeve Carney, and Staz Nair plus exec producers Lou Adler, Gail Berman, and Kenny Ortega.
Fans of “Salem” will see a tease of Season 3 with stars Shane West, Janet Montgomery, Seth Gabel, Iddo Goldberg, and Elise Eberle plus EPs Brannon Braga and Adam Simon.
This year also marks the final SDCC Q&A for “Bones” with Emily Deschanel, David Boreanaz, TJ Thyne, Michaela Conlin, Tamara Taylor, John Boyd and EPs Jonathan Collier and Michael Peterson.
Lastly, we’ll hear more about “Scream Queens” Season 2 from stars Jamie Lee Curtis, Emma Roberts, Lea Michele, and more.
SDCC 2016 runs July 21st-24th (Preview Night is July 20th) at the San Diego Convention Center. Expect LOTS more soon!
