When it comes to imparting nightmares on a horror audience, nobody does it better than Javier Botet. The impossibly thin/impossibly tall actor is known for his terrifying roles in films like [REC], Mama, and The Conjuring 2 (he played the Crooked Man), and he’s just come aboard two more horror projects. Read on!

As spotted over on Botet’s IMDb page – and we tip our hats to Bloody Disgusting for noticing – the lanky horror vet will appear in Universal’s upcoming reboot of The Mummy as well as the feature adaptation of Stephen King’s It – the latter of which is being directed by Mama helmer Andy Muschietti.

At this time, we have no way of knowing what role Botet will fill in either film, though the thought of him playing Pennywise makes us poop our pants in the very best of ways. Of course, Bill Skarsgard has already been cast in the role, but there’s always the possibility that Botet will play a different incarnation of the character.

Both It and The Mummy are headed our way in 2017.
