Upcoming Horrors Get a Rating: Altitude, [REC] 2, and The Killer Inside Me
Nope, there was no PG-13 fare included in the MPAA’s latest round of ratings. Oh happy day! Altitude, [REC] 2, and The Killer Inside Me all scored an R. Ready to know what for? That is, after all, half the fun!
In theaters July 9th from Magnet Releasing will be [REC] 2, which the MPAA has rated R “for strong bloody violence, disturbing images and pervasive language”
IFC Films’ ever so controversial The Killer Inside Me received an R “for disturbing brutal violence, aberrant sexual content and some graphic nudity.” Look for it in theaters and VOD on June 18th.
And finally, Anchor Bay’s mid-air monster movie Altitude also received an R “for language and a sexual gesture.” That’s right! One sexual gesture. We all know how damaging they can be. It’s a wonder it didn’t garner an NC-17!
