David Slade Talks Twilight Saga: Eclipse; New TV Spot “Something New”

A couple of new videos have hit the Net relating to The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, including another TV spot, but the most intriguing is definitely a recent chat with director David Slade.

IGN sat down with Slade recently and learned what it was like for him to take on a different breed of vampire and why Eclipse just might be the Twilight movie for genre fans.

In Eclipse, hitting theatres June 30th, Bella (Kristen Stewart) once again finds herself surrounded by danger as Seattle is ravaged by a string of mysterious killings and a malicious vampire continues her quest for revenge. In the midst of it all, she is forced to choose between her love for Edward (Robert Pattinson) and her friendship with Jacob (Taylor Lautner) — knowing that her decision has the potential to ignite the ageless struggle between vampire and werewolf. With her graduation quickly approaching, Bella is confronted with the most important decision of her life.
