#SDCC16: Check Out the Trailer Tease for Kong: Skull Island
What do we know about next year’s Kong: Skull Island? For starters, the film will feature the largest iteration of Kong to date, and it’ll tell a brand new story that’s set in the 1970s. We also know that Kong will be stomping his way into this weekend’s San Diego Comic-Con, and on tap today is a tease of his arrival.
The official Kong: Skull Island Twitter account just tweeted out a short little video that suggests the trailer will be unleashed upon San Diego this Saturday, July 23rd. We’ll of course share it with you as soon as we have it, but in the meantime, check out the tease below!

Tom Hiddleston, Brie Larson, John Goodman, Samuel L. Jackson, Tom Wilkinson, John C. Reilly, Toby Kebbell, Will Brittain, Thomas Mann, Jason Mitchell, Corey Hawkins, John Ortiz, Eugene Cordero, and Shea Whigham star.
Jordan Vogt-Roberts directed from a script by John Gatins and Max Borenstein. Producing are Legendary’s John Jashni and Thomas Tull as well as Mary Parent.
The film is about a man (Hiddleston) who travels to the mythical island and home of the king of the apes. A team of explorers venture inside what they find to be a treacherous island.
Kong: Skull Island will hit theaters on March 10, 2017.
