Bethesda Showcases New Quake Champions and Prey Trailers at QuakeCon
Bethesda had some hot stuff cooking at this year’s QuakeCon in Dallas, Texas. The annual convention is organized by their parent company, ZeniMax Media, and primarily focuses on celebrating the Quake series (the upcoming Quake Champions received most of the attention this year), but they were also kind enough to showcase a new trailer for Prey and another look at Doom’s new DLC. Get the goods below.
Note that some new gameplay footage from Dishonored 2 was also featured at the event, but I can’t include it because it doesn’t seem to have made its way online.

DOOM – Unto the Evil Now Available:
Hot on the heels of the release of Free Update 2, DOOM’s first premium DLC, Unto the Evil, is now available.
Unto the Evil brings three new diverse maps to DOOM multiplayer: Offering, Cataclysm, and Ritual. In addition, the DLC adds the UAC EMG Pistol as a new weapon, the Kinetic Mine as new equipment, and the Harvester as a new playable demon. Unto the Evil also adds new armor sets, patterns, colors, and taunts as well as new hack modules. id Software is also introducing the PartyPlay system, which allows anyone to play any of the new maps from Unto the Evil, as long as you party up with a friend who owns the DLC. Similarly, if you own the DLC, the Unto the Evil DLC maps will be accessible to anyone who’s in your party as part of the map rotation.
Don’t miss our double XP weekend to coincide with the launch of Unto the Evil, which will last until August 8, at 12pm ET! To get even more information on DOOM, check out featured content on Bethesda.net and follow the game on its official social media channels.
