Jason Momoa May Kill Bad Guys in The Crow Reboot
Last we heard, The Hallow director Corin Hardy had departed Relativity’s reboot of The Crow, and from what we gathered, the project was totally dead in the water. But that was earlier this year, and today brings a big ole update that should excite anyone who’s itching to see Eric Draven fly once more. Read on!
Mashable exclusively reports today that, according to their insider sources, Jason Momoa (Aquaman) is in talks to star in The Crow, reportedly still being directed by Corin Hardy. Rumors began when Momoa posted an image on Instagram of a meeting with Hardy, which included #dreamjob and #greatnewstocome.
The Crow is a remake of Alex Proyas‘ 1994 classic action movie starring Brandon Lee that was based on the beloved graphic novel by James O’Barr. Momoa would presumably play Eric Draven, who returns from the dead to track down his killers with the help of a mystical crow.
Will this iteration of the project actually get off the ground? We have our doubts.
